Meet the business owner – Shanan White
Shanan White became the driving force behind Don Chapman Waikato Ltd in 2014 when he bought the business. Shanan’s journey with the company began in 2007, working as a labour-only contractor for Don Chapman. Over the years, he became a trusted part of the business and today, Shanan’s vision and leadership are pivotal in maintaining the company’s reputation for quality and reliability.
Shanan’s leadership is backed by a team of long-standing employees, some with decades of service, ensuring a depth of expertise and experience is utilised in every project.

Don Chapman’s brand has been synonymous with dairy shed construction in New Zealand for more than 30 years, with over 600 milking sheds built across the country. From the renowned dairy complex at AgResearch in Tokanui to numerous farm projects, we’ve been delivering quality rural infrastructure for decades.
With a dedicated team of 17 staff, Don Chapman Waikato continues to be a leader in agricultural construction. Specialising in dairy infrastructure, we offer sustainable and innovative solutions to maximise productivity and reduce operational costs.
